Artist Statement

"Veronika Gilková graduated from UKF Nitra, Slovakia (2013), where she studied psychology. Her interest in photography started during her years of college, approximately in 2010. Her photos have a dreamy atmosphere and imaginative quality. They are based in nature, which switches into a magical country under the influence of various light effects/smoke. Her portrait work is meditative and melancholic."
